Any idea if these allow giving different SSIDs to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands? The eero I currently have uses the same SSID for both bands and some of my older 2.4Ghz devices are unable to connect - The eero allows turning off the 5Ghz temporarily and for those few minutes the 2.4Ghz devices do connect but as soon as Eero turns on the 5Ghz antenna, the 2.4Ghz devices are dropped again.

Would appreciate any input.
Thanks,
-Topper
You can't have separate SSIDs, so, 2,4 ghz Smart Plugs will probably have issues connecting, reconnecting.

I grabbed the last two at my local target. They indeed scanned at $80 instead of the $140 listed.

If anyone is in the Bay Area lots of store have them in stock. However I grabbed the last two at oakridge.
All the ones in the North Bay are showing $140 on brickseek. Are you saying brickseek is wrong and I can go in and get them for $80?

I have it. Don't like it. Two of these mesh doesn't work as well as a good normal quality router.

Just in time for first week of October when the Nest 6E access points are launched. Discounted old tech. Nice price but is 3 year old hardware.

You sir ,are amazing.

I pulled up brickstreet and it stated $149.99, but I thought I remembered seeing that those yellow tags mean nationwide cuts. Local Target had 5 in stock, brickstreet listed for $149.99 each, I made the drive and risked it, They were indeed $80, and I purchased 4 packages. Replacing all of my old school google points with 8 of the new ones, and I can get rid of a bunch of google home minis as well, all for $350.

FYI, because this includes a router in each package, if you are using this for an add-on, you can use the additional router as a stand alone wifi point, but it will also function with backhaul, and also allow you to plug a device or a dumb switch into it as well. The new wifi points do not have the ability to plug an ethernet cable into them, so this is probably the best deal that has ever been on this site dealing with google home wifi.
What yellow tags??

Wait, can you not hardwire / backhaul the Nest points? I have the older Google WiFi backhauled throughout my house. Def interested in upgrading to Nest WiFi
Ok found the answer to my question. So the pucks don't have Ethernet ports at all. The routers do. So each pack comes with one router and one standard point. That's annoying.

I was able to pick up two at 80.70, it showed up at 149.00 on brickseek, but took the chance. There were none on the floor, I had to ask an associate to look up the specific product number and they had them locked up in the back. I was able to get the last two.

Wow that feels like a downgrade. It's really nice having the Ethernet ports on the google WiFi pucks

There are lots of them available in Dallas area. I just grabbed 2 at Target close to my house. I left 3 on the rack. It actually said $140 at the price tag, but when you scan it , it will show $80.
