I pulled up brickstreet and it stated $149.99, but I thought I remembered seeing that those yellow tags mean nationwide cuts. Local Target had 5 in stock, brickstreet listed for $149.99 each, I made the drive and risked it, They were indeed $80, and I purchased 4 packages. Replacing all of my old school google points with 8 of the new ones, and I can get rid of a bunch of google home minis as well, all for $350.

FYI, because this includes a router in each package, if you are using this for an add-on, you can use the additional router as a stand alone wifi point, but it will also function with backhaul, and also allow you to plug a device or a dumb switch into it as well. The new wifi points do not have the ability to plug an ethernet cable into them, so this is probably the best deal that has ever been on this site dealing with google home wifi.

These are wifi 5, which is on its way out. Google will announce wifi 6 at the October 6th event, which is why these are being cleared out.
Fyi - Wifi 7 is planned to roll out 2024

Brickseek showed in stock at $149 and Target app showed in stock for me, but none available in store. Manager looked it up said they haven't had any for a month.

Anyone in the Bay area, there is one more at the Serramonte Target. Price was $134.50 in store but when I spoke with the sales associate and showed him the slickdeal post he marked it down to $80. YMMV

well, the question is do you really need wifi 6 or 7 if you don't have lots of people in your house streaming 4k ? .

Are the Nest Wifi software features any different than Google Wifi? I have somewhat outgrown my Google Wifi in that my smart home would benefit from more enhanced features. Curious if the new "pro" version will have enhancements than the non-pro versions.

I think I'm gonna wait for the Wi-Fi 8 and then when the Wi-Fi 8 is about to come out I'm gonna wait for the Wi-Fi 9, then if u ask me which Wi-Fi I have 50 years later when the Wi-Fi 58 is coming out I'm gonna tell you I still have the Wi-Fi 802.11b waiting for the Wi-Fi 59

Word of caution on Google wifi devices. I had the Google OnHub wifi for only 5 years before they deactivated the app and now it's a paperweight.
