I was able to pick up two at 80.70, it showed up at 149.00 on brickseek, but took the chance. There were none on the floor, I had to ask an associate to look up the specific product number and they had them locked up in the back. I was able to get the last two.

Bought a two-router pack from someone on eBay for my parents house and it transformed the wifi. If you use two routers, one just turns into access point.

Any idea if these allow giving different SSIDs to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands? The eero I currently have uses the same SSID for both bands and some of my older 2.4Ghz devices are unable to connect - The eero allows turning off the 5Ghz temporarily and for those few minutes the 2.4Ghz devices do connect but as soon as Eero turns on the 5Ghz antenna, the 2.4Ghz devices are dropped again.

Would appreciate any input.
Thanks,
-Topper
I have no issue to connect my devices which use 2.4Ghz to this Google nest mesh. It will auto select the band for your devices , I guess.

Been using this model/set up for 2+ years and zero issues. Just a fantastic ease of use device IMO. Minimal fuss and frills which fits the bill for majority of households. Two of these easily covers my entire single story 2400 sq feet house here in CA via Xfinity.

Local store reported $149 on brickseek with "limited stock." They still had 4 in stock for $80.

If anyone wants a super cheap used mesh, you can go on eBay and buy 2 orbi RBR40 and hack one so that it becomes RBS40. Literally $60 total! Reddit has the instructions to modify the RBR40 units.

Deal looks good compared to retail but in practice these should retail for $80.

You can buy cheap repeaters off of Amazon that cost $20, or just connect an old Router to your existing router to extend range. You can also use an old laptop to spread signal around your house.

Mesh is going to be overkill for most people. Most people on SD don't live in 10k sq ft mansions, and
I've never met a person who actually uses Google Assistant.
My old router can only transmit 100Mbps while I have a 500Mbps connection. So I have to upgrade.

Mine rang up at $134.50 :/
Still needed a new router but still most likely keep an eye out for a price match or better deal.
