Fake reviews or not, Sunex is an old brand that makes solid tools. Like if you buy a Williams, Proto, SK, or another prominent mid-high tier brand, it's generally not garbage.

Doesn't matter though, Amazon, Ali, and eBay have proven people will generally buy anything, as long as it's the cheapest.

Got a similar set off eBay 10-32mm deep and shallow for $65 shipped

Yea unless you are a professional mechanic that will do jobs that pay for your tools , cheaper ones are fine especially the impact rated ones , yes the chrome ones will crack and strip , never had a cheap impact socket fail unless you over torque with it

I have a few Sunex sets and, for the money, I would rate them 5 stars. They aren't Snap-On quality but nice sets that tend to not skip sizes and be good quality. Perfect for a shade tree mechanic or even a professional that isn't dead set on putting the tool truck guy's kids through college.

I think you will find Sunex impacts in a lot of pro boxes. They are hard to beat for the price. I like just as much as my Grey Pneumatic USA made ones from the 70's
