This is about the max size for no wheels if you are planning to fill this and then move it. If you really pack this with ice and drinks yes, it is going to be too heavy for an average adult to move, though 2 people can certainly do it. I've found that about half full is OK, obviously YMMV including based on what you are packing as plenty of protein fits at substantially less weight than beverages.
We use this size for holding bottled water on the patio when hosting friends, where it gets filled with ice and stays in place - by the time everyone leaves it's light enough to move. For the price+size it's hard to argue for stationary use or a backup cooler but your use case may call for prioritization of different factors.

Shame it's out of stock. I have two Yetis but I've been considering a cheap cooler like this for when we have parties and need cooler overflow at the house. Hopefully it comes back in stock. 🤞🏻
Yea I agrees with that answer. Looking at the other coolers that Walmart sells I see Coleman offers a lots of bag coolers. Those muct be the soft side coolers.
2 person lift. If nobody gonna help me carry and they are actually fir enough to help, than. I gotta rethink my generosity. Maybe next time my cooler will be personal sized.
I saw on youtube that expanding foam spray can greatly boost the performance if these. I haven't tried since cheapest foam i foujd was $5-6 a can
48qt in and out of stock, back in stock, order Approx October 18 or 19 delivered but maybe sooner if ur local store have in stock. 3qty or more is free shipping, 2qty or less is $6.99 shipping making 2qty approx $20/ea.

Look at this guy with enough friends for 3 coolers
Any comments? I think these deals are slick, not sure if maybe they're regionally YMMV?
I'm 43. I've had a very similar Coleman for 22 years now, and the plastic lid hinges finally broke this summer (thanks to my 3-yr old "little helper"). Colemans are great! Yes, there are coolers that will keep ice longer but also cost about 20 times more than a Coleman. If you are legitimately going to be living out of a cooler for a week, or need bear-proofing, then maybe you should go buy a $400 Yeti or a $300 Rtic. Two bags of ice are all I've ever needed for a weekend trip with my Coleman. I would seriously recommend skipping this deal though, and looking for one with a handle and wheels--I will never buy another without.

What does "Hard Sided Cooler" mean ?
That the sides are hard as opposed to soft.
