ALERT: this mouse has the stiffest scroll wheel I've ever seen. And it's very easy to misclick the wheel instead of scroll it since it's too stiff. I opened it up and lube it but not effective. I ended up with stiffening up the clicking stiffness by a hair rubber band, quick and dirty solution, just to avoid misclicking

Does anyone know if these have Razer's 1st or 2nd-gen optical switches? Definitely not a fan of Razer's mushy 1st-gen optical switches.

Lol at people still using wired mice in 2022.

Dafuq is the use case for a wireless one?

you sit AT YOUR DESK in front of the screen. Why would you be replacing batteries when you can just use USB power?

if the wire is ever an issue, you are doing something wrong.

For quick flicks in fps games I prefer wireless. If you're a low sensitivity player having a cord attached to your mouse is a pain. I run a 25cm 360 and definitely notice a difference when dragging a cord around even with a bungee.

This mouse is 6 inches. I don't know what kind of manlets you're dating but 6 inches is a handful.

Sounds like you're a high sensitivity player. Checkout mouse-sensitivity.com. Enter your game, mouse dpi, and in-game or config file sensitivity. The website will tell you what your 360 is. It will also tell you how to convert that sensitivity to other games so they all feel the same which will help build up consistency and muscle memory. Depending on how you hold your mouse and where the sensor is relative to your grip, based on your description, I'd guess you're moving your mouse sensor around 1cm for a 90 degree movement which would translate to a 4cm 360. By contrast, I'm moving my mouse about 6 times further on the mouse pad to match your on screen movements. So I can see why mouse cords may not be an issue for you and you should be able to see why the converse is true for me.

By the way, I used to be a high sensitivity player and I was pretty awful until I lowered my sensitivity. You might want to try lowering yours, give it a few weeks to get used to it and see how you do. I'm not a pro or a video game streamer, I'm just an average, casual player so take my recommendations with a grain of salt. I used to be a sub 1 K/D player and now I'm just under a 3 K/D player on Battlefield V. Here's a video of me going 32 - 0 in a team deathmatch round. https://youtu.be/9N4osAFFYIY Video just uploaded so it might take 24 hours or so before HD quality is available. Plenty of other videos up on my channel as well although most of them are of cheaters that are spectated for reporting purposes.

Does it require custom software and/or drivers?

Yes: both to use the extra buttons and prevent the damn mouse from alternating colors all the time.

Best hardware, worst software - no linux or mac support.

Certain mice you can switch to a key bind and write to the mouse on Win64, but the fact that there's no way to kill the light is absurd.

I mean it's just all personal preference. There's no correct or incorrect mouse sensitivity. I'm just a lazy fark who doesn't want to wave my arms around while gaming so I aim with the wrist.
