FYI this is the basic plan; no Howard for those who care.

FYI, there's some other BS fee attached that ends up making the total $120ish. That said we did this last go around, I don't regret it.

Tried this today on my car that already had active service, and was given an offer of $33 for the year with taxes & fees included in that price. Decided to take it (if I called back, I might not get the $99 for 3 yrs offer or be given the $33 again). It also sets a precedent for next year, when I can say I'd stay if I could get the same price. Don't know if that'll work, but we'll see.

I asked if I could apply the offer to my husband's car as well, and they did. The $33 fee already shows up on my account and as pending on my credit card, but it's not there yet for my husband. Hopefully it won't be a problem (we're getting a refund processed on my husband's account because he had more than $33 prepaid from an annual offer that started in August). The whole call took 18 minutes, which is about twice as long as it usually takes, but I'm usually just doing one car at a time, and only accepting the lowest offer they give (for this one, I mentioned the 3 yrs for $99, and the rep had to talk to a supervisor twice, once for each car). Still not that long of a call, quicker than trying to do it all through chat, I think.

I chatted and was not eligible for deal.
I called and was not eligible for deal because it is radio specific.
SO, I called 855-227-6738 and asked for a Supervisor.
She looked at all the deals available and found one....
2 Years for $6.06 per month (includes all taxes and fees).
Billed monthly but you can just add amount to your account which they will charge each month for 2 years!
No need to call in for another 2 years.

Has anyone cancelled and tried to get it and have it work?

I pay $7.80 a month day, thinking on cancelling with my bill due in 4 days
I had an active sub costing $7.27 a month, which is the highest I've ever paid for this service. I took it over the summer because it was an ongoing rate, meaning it wouldn't expire in a year, and at the time I didn't feel like fighting it. Called today and was given one year for $33, taxes and fees included. I would've rather had 3 for $99, but I'm happy with the result. I did have to mention that I'd seen an ad of 3 yrs for $99, and the rep had to talk to his supervisor. When I called, I said I wanted to cancel because it was too expensive.

Surprisingly, it doesn't. In the fine print:

"Service will not automatically renew.."

That makes me willing to look at it as I have a car that may qualify.
Says that….. but when I click customer agree it states it does and they can also change the duration of the renewal to a year or monthly at their liking and must cancel prior to renewal price change.

I just cancelled, they offered me $5.99 a month plus tax with the price never changing. I told them I saw the 3 yr offer she asked where, I said the website when I logged in to cancel. Had me wait a few minutes and came back with $120.84 for the years including tax and fees

No go for me after asking a second time. I have 2018 MINI Countryman. Will try again someday. Or I'll just wait for one of their emails.

Anyone getting the All Access with this? Including Howard, NFL, and other features normally not available with this plan.

One rep said 2015. Another said 2012. Another said 2017. I think they're just pulling the numbers out of their a**.

I have a 2017 and got the deal. I had to keeping saying "No, I can't afford that much" over and over. Also, I had an active sub due to expire later this month when I called in.

It's just the usual Sirius BS.

Same with the package they gave me. I was cancelled for 2-3+ years and thought for sure they'd want to sign me on for anything long-term (especially since my radio is in a 2009 car that could die at anytime).

Finally got the $6/month deal and could justify it.

If you have reception issues it's likely the receiver. My wife's Mazda had very poor Sirius reception, even in urban/suburban areas where reception should have been excellent. My truck, on the other hand, gets reception nearly everywhere - even federal/state parks lands where I have no cell, no radio, no nothing. If I'm in a really, really remote area it might blank out for 2-3 seconds, but comes back. The Sirius aftermarket receiver my wife has in her Honda now falls somewhere in between the two in terms of reception. All of that said, I would never pay more than $6/mth for the service.

???
It comes from satellites, why would being in a park/on Federal land matter?

Trees can interfere with the signal and most state/federal parks lands have extensive tree coverage over most of the roads.
