Razer BlackShark V2 X retail comes in 2 models (USB or jack)
This appears to be the non-USB model (for all systems) - it should have a splitter included

Note: the V2 X is the 'lite' entry-level headset compared to the V2

there is not such thing as looking cool while gaming

just get stuff that's comfortable and works for them
What wireless options can you get close to this price point? I think this is a good starter and you can replace stuff as you go. Also, you never have to worry about charging anything.

The headset alone is worth $40.

I just got it in the mail. The keyboard has very long strokes. Feels far from gaming. The mouse feels way too big. The headset is really comfy, but it's not USB which sucks when playing on a laptop. It's gone in the computer junk drawer.

I needed new headphones and figured this is a great value for that alone. At first I thought they were a bit too bass heavy and muddy in comparison to the low end on-ear Sennheisers HD 4.20s they are replacing. But I've gotten used to them and liking the sound and the comfort.

Has anyone noticed that the R and L channels are not well balanced though? Mine are not as loud on the right. It's driving me crazy. Anyone with a similar experience?
