Positives:
Taco Bell is expensive here in LA. It just takes three trips to Taco Bell in a month to basically "break even"
Soft/Crunchy Taco - $1.79
Supreme Taco - $2.79
Doritos Taco - $2.69
Doritos Supreme Taco - $3.19
I never had any issues using the pass. It resets at midnight I believe and not 24 hours after your previous usage of it.
Taco Bell's that serve breakfast have their full menu's during breakfast as well if you're fine with a normal taco at that time. Also, their breakfast burritos are honestly pretty good. I recommend the potato burrito and then get a topping of sausage added - it's cheaper than just getting a sausage burrito.
Negatives:
I tried to see how many times I could go to Taco Bell in a month before I got tired of it and it was I think 12 times? lol. Granted, Taco Bell is pretty close to me which leads me to....
Don't buy it if it's not within close driving distance. It's really not worth it if you're having to drive ten minutes there for a "free" taco.
All in all it's a great price/deal. If you think you'll eat at Taco Bell at least three times in a month then you'll break even with it. Often I would go and ONLY get the free Taco and nothing else, but usually I would get two taco's or a taco and a value burrito.
The bottom line is that Taco Bell is probably the most vegetarian and vegan friendly large fast food chain and they are extremely transparent about the ingredients in all of their menu items, including all of their sauces. They even have a section of their menu which is certified vegetarian by the American Vegetarian Association.
It's unusually easy to make almost any menu item vegetarian or vegan by swapping or omitting an ingredient or two. We get CHOICES! Lots of them! And PROTEIN! And more than just a side salad or some steamed vegetables! Frankly, it's glorious. 🙌😆
While every vegetarian or vegan has a different comfort level as far as how their food is prepared, the only way to be 100% sure that your food will never contain any animal products whatsoever is to grow and prepare your own food, which is only possible if you live in a warm climate year-round, have the land and knowledge to grow sufficient amounts of food, and are physically capable of doing so. Even all but the strictest of vegans (who won't even eat foods like broccoli because of how they are generally pollinated) believe in avoiding animal products to the extent that it is *practicable*.
I'm the strictest vegetarian I know, in that I adopt many vegan "rules", such as not eating insect ingredients or gelatin, and even I'm 100% comfortable eating at Taco Bell. Occasionally, I'll receive my order prepared with meat instead of beans, but I'm used to checking my food before I leave and it's easy to instantly tell if it's been made wrong and get it corrected. When you almost always have to modify the ingredients in your order, you get used to checking your food every time and it just becomes part of your routine when you get take out.
There are very few fast food places that I can even eat at and very few menu items I can even eat at any of those places (let alone non-side dishes), which is why Taco Bell is such a favorite for vegans and vegetarians. It's crazy, what's in some menu items. I mean, McDonald's puts meat in their fries. Who would expect that!?

edit: The terms do state that swapping protein is allowed (refried beans only - black beans are excluded).

•Can you redeem two tacos with two Taco Lover's Passes and pick up in one visit, or do you need two people or make two trips thru the drive thru?

Their sour cream is also vegetarian (no gelatin).
I typically avoid the drive-thru in the evenings. Best to do in store pickup if you see a long line at the drive-thru.
