Mine isn't so coiled. I still managed to pull the whole thing into the pool a couple days ago.
You may need a longer high-pressure hose if this is a problem a lot. These go on sale here and there, set an alert. I got the 25' extension for $10.70:

My only BIG issue is the reservoir has not from the beginning pumped the liquid into the water line when spraying.
I also picked up one of those turbo nozzles from Harbor Freight. That was a nice addition.
