I bought the rechargeable one on the last deal and it's better than any of the half dozen snarks I've had. The two that didn't break at the pivot had the soft touch finish turn into a sticky oozy mess -including the non-headstock plug in one.
The fender finds the pitch super quickly on any string, guitar or bass- even low B on a 5.

this was 5 thumbs up several months back for $7.70.
they also had the rechargeable at that time for about $5 more.
the question of how it compares to the snark is always asked.
i've seen a few comments that the snark "break at the pivot point"
I bought a snark SN-1 in Dec 2016 for $6.52.
I liked it but it's $20 now and this is $7.70
I have had mine for 3 years, but now that you said that, it will probably break, haha.
I've had several of them, one of which was a replacement that Snark sent me after I called them about the issue. They're all broken now at the same ball/socket area. If they're flexed beyond the little tabs, then they break. But maybe I'm too hard on those things, but that's what comes from everyday use in many environments. Or maybe they're not banjo proof....

Snaek tunes well but the hardware is poorly designed. Rubber part of the clamp falls off easily due to weak glue. As someone else stated, the tabs that connect the [weak] ball joint tend to weaken and break off. The weird rubber texture surface flakes off and is just unsightly, although that's me being picky. The only reason I reach for the Snark over this tuner would be to tune to Hz other than A=440 -- when I have to tune to a certain baby grand piano for live performances. IMO that's all this Fender tuner needs to be perfect.
