All of the review pictures of them broken in half are really reassuring. Pass

This dude in the reviews was chopping vines/soft branches and the blade broke near the hilt. Seems like cheap materials.

Believe it or not, the $5 machete from Harbor Freight isn't bad. It's more of a brush machete, though as its fairly light.

Wrong, even in California you can open carry blades
I responded to the person's entire scenario. There is an "and" in the question.

In California, is it legal to openly carry and pull it out if someone crosses you?

Is it legal to wear this out in public like a pirate sword and pull it out if anyone crosses you?
Open carrying swords and spears has been legal in Texas for a few years now.
