I do a lot of my own maintenance and so Advance Auto Parts speed perks has well…….some really good perks if you're Elite status (spend $500 per year). Another way to max this deal:

1) Use speed perks and if you're elite, earn 25% bonus rewards for oil changes. So $40 oil change bundle = 500 pts and a $5 rebate.
2) Also earn $.20 gallon off shell gas for every $50 you spend.
3) Also link thru a certain rebate site and earn $10 rebate on $60 purchase.

Soooo…..

1) Link thru rebate site
2) Buy 2 Pennzoil oil change bundles @ $39.99 each.

~$80 minus $10 rebate (RMN $10 off $60), minus $10 earned speed perks, minus $5 shell gas savings, minus $25 Pennzoil rebate = $30 net for 10 quarts and 2 filters.


FYI - If you buy your filters from Amazon they're around $10 apiece for my F-150 (purolator, Mobil or Fram) so while the oil is $14, with filter it becomes $34 total.

Advance Auto Parts Elite - Earned by owning a 2010 F-150 with 185K miles and a 4.6L that won't die.

Definition of high mileage……see above.

Rebate center - fully screen shot'd my AAP online order and have my rebate tracking number.

Also already received my confirmation from RMN that my $10 rebate was logged and I'll have it by 11.18. They've never failed to deliver.

Yes, but the towels are a separate bill item, so you can cancel it and get the money back. Mine was over $33 for just the towels for two bundles.

Man, I want to load up for 2-3 years worth (several cars as well) but storage space is a premium and I don't want to leave it in an unconditioned area aka my garage.

Shop towel is indeed a separate billing item that you can go into your orders and cancel individually. They are actually prorated 3x more than the oil lol. Comes out to around $6-7 depending on which oil weight you buy.

With the deadline for the $25 rebate ticking down, it appears the plain Jane Walmart 5 qt jugs are the best deal for immediate need? $26.x for Platinum, $24 for PYB, then this rebate. In 0w-20.

I don't see the shop towel deal links working.

I called the phone number 1-866-707-6737 about my invalid rebate (press 5 and wait to talk to a representative). She said all paper I submitted were valid. But they are waiting for Amazon for reply that my purchase is valid. She said wait 3 more weeks. And it has been 3-4 more weeks since they flagged my rebate is invalid. Now I have to wait for 3 more weeks.

So totaly, you need to wait at least 14 weeks (6-8 weeks to receive the rebate is invalid or valid), then if it's invalid, they waiting for Amazon to reply that my order did get shipped. And what if Amazon never reply???

Totally BS on the rebate from Pennzoil. Don't expect getting your rebate approved.

I am in the exactly the same situation. It has been much longer that 3 weeks for me. I completely agree that it is BS, and an excuse to refuse the rebate. It just doesn't make any sense.

I got the email from Pennzoil said that Amazon reply back with confirmation about my purchase and the email provided me a link to select the gift cards for the value of $25. I selected Amazon gift card and the 3rd party website provided the code to input into Amazon account for $25.

Just like always, you need to follow up with your rebate.

TSC (Pennzoil's rebate contractor) repeatedly falsely rejected my rebate like 3 times now, purportedly for lack of delivery confirmation, even though it was submitted to them MANY times, in various forms, JPG, screenshots, email PDFs from Amazon, screenshots from different dates, etc.

I did everything possible. Will not buy Pennzoil again.

Have had to fight pennzoil on last 3 rebates over 4 years. Each time denied by their outsourced rebate fulfillment. Appeal with proof of proper forms and receipts and it gets approved. But what a pain

Rebate rejected!! The Amazon invoice and delivery confirmation was not accepted in order to fulfill rebate. Every time I try to submit a rebate from Pennzoil it is rejected.
