As someone who bought this before for the same price, not worth it IMO. Only good tool in the bunch is the ratchet.

Fuel versions of all the tools can be had during sales for just about the same price. Huge difference between the two versions, and I have since upgraded to all Fuel M12s and M18s

As someone who bought this before for the same price, not worth it IMO. Only good tool in the bunch is the ratchet.

Fuel versions of all the tools can be had during sales for just about the same price. Huge difference between the two versions, and I have since upgraded to all Fuel M12s and M18s

Maybe. Fuel is nicer, more powerful and generally more compact for the power but Milwaukee brushed tools are pretty solid for the price. I know a pro that uses his heavily and it's fine for his uses. I think the brushed M12 ratchet is really too weak for a lot of fasteners that need 3/8" drive sockets. I use mine with a 1/4" drive adapter.

I'm looking for a compact tool set for light duty work and I'm currently having a hard time deciding between M12, M12 fuel, or the Makita subcompact. Anyone have any advice?

depends on whether you deal with big bolts that need an impact wrench or just lightweight plastics.

If you want buy all five tools separately. You can get all five for roughly around $200 if you search eBay and Amazon. Those two batteries are not worth more than $30

I paid $200 during black Friday. I use this set very often inside the house. The impact driver has no problems sinking a few lags into a wood stud to hang a TV. I leave my 20v tools in the garage.
