Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

I signed up about 7 days ago (my first month is considered a trial), and when I add the phone to cart, it says I'll be getting 10% back in store credit on my Google Store account.

So, for the $422 difference, I can take a holiday trip to Europe and buy the phone+watch from there?

I signed up right before purchasing (no trial offered) and my order clearly shows that I'll receive a $60 credit. But that credit doesn't come until after ~30 days so you need to be subscribed for 2 months.

Should I upgrade from a S21 Ultra to Pixel 7 Pro? The specs seem exactly same.
The S21 Ultra provides a stylus(in the Samsung cover) + great zoom lens + a great battery life (even after 2 yrs) + USB OTG.

Why should I pull the trigger?

Total cost with tax (CA): 1090

I keep trying to move away from Pixels when good deals happen, switched to an LG once, Samsung a couple of times. Hardware isn't always as good as say Samsung , but I just can't get past the quality of life stuff in the Pixel experience. The call screening. The transcribing of messages and voice mail etc. The single sign on experience opposite of Samsung that keeps wanting you to sign into a Samsung account but then you still have stuff tied to Google etc.

Just can't beat the Pixel experience, not to mention the software magic they pull of with the Camera etc. I keep trying to convince myself something else will be better but it just isn't.

I traded in my wife's Pixel 3a for a 6a a few months ago when Discover had the PayPal 5% CB. I got the 5% CB on the Discover card, and when I got refunded the value of the Pixel 3a, it didn't take away the 5% CB (only the standard 1%). Even if they did I would be fine with it, I'm still net negative.

If you live or not irk in a low signal area, I would wait to see how well the modem functions on the Pixel 7. The phone uses an update of a Samsung modem that had a questionable reputation in the Pixel 6.

I agree. I was given a free Pixel 6 Pro and the One Plus 9 from Sprint due to the tech up. Prefer the 6 Pro, so I'm not using the OnePlus 9.

Good to know! I have the $1.99/month plan - do you know if that limitation exists if I upgrade? Or is it only if you just sign up
