Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Scenario 1: I can trade my S22 to Google for $600 and get the Pixel 7 basically free, plus the Google credit.
Scenario 2: I can trade in my wife's old iPhone 7 or my Pixel 3 for $250 (since neither one is worth that much otherwise), sell my S22 on Swappa and net around $450 or so, and then I'm essentially getting $700ish back plus the Google Store credit. BUT, then I would be running the risk of Google's trade-in partner pulling some shenanigans on the trade and rejecting the iPhone. In that case, I'd be losing out on the iPhone credit, but also on the amount I could have gotten for the S22.
I'm leaning towards a third option of just trading it in at Best Buy in person. Only $540 trade it credit, but then I wouldn't have to worry about the trading partner doing something shady. I traded in a broken 3a for the S22, and that went OK, so I am not sure whether I should be that worried or not - I've just heard too many horror stories re: Google support, so I'm hesitant to take the chance on the trade-in. Have any of you had good experiences lately trading in via the Google Store?

Like why do you even want a pixel 7 over an s22? The s22 is an objectively better phone, better camera set up, better processor, better gpu

(And if I hate the 7, I could do another Fi promo and get another S22, assuming the promo is still around)
So even as a Google Fi user seems best to use the Google Store instead of the Fi Store.
If anyone is planning up for signing up for Google Fi referral links after a month service give both people $20. So people could save another $20 that way as well if they are joining Google Fi.
Here is the Google 1 link to plans. $10 a month plan is required for the 10 percent back.

In US - Pixel 7 pro + Watch LTE … 1300 USD
So, for the $422 difference, I can take a holiday trip to Europe and buy the phone+watch from there?
Whereas Tax is extra here.
