Trade in values for Pixel 6 series towards Pixel 7 Series
Pixel 6 128 GB - $440
Pixel 6 Pro 128GB - $480
These values are not great particularly for Pro, compared to what Samsung offers to their previous gen.

Pixel 6 pro should have at least get $600 trade in value.

You have to sign up for the 2tb plan which is $9.99 a month. Keep it for two months basically because you have to keep a sub when the money back is issued as well.

Looking forward to this. Did 1 month of 1 TB google one for 2.50 to save 60 bucks on the phone. Pixel 3 tradein for 245 (64 GB), cashback from site unsaid and amex to knock this just to over 300. Plus 2 year warranty from amex.

Good to know! I have the $1.99/month plan - do you know if that limitation exists if I upgrade? Or is it only if you just sign up
worked for me with upgrade from 1.99 plan, you will actually see credit on the checkout page and the receipt.

I'm really torn on this one.

Scenario 1: I can trade my S22 to Google for $600 and get the Pixel 7 basically free, plus the Google credit.

Scenario 2: I can trade in my wife's old iPhone 7 or my Pixel 3 for $250 (since neither one is worth that much otherwise), sell my S22 on Swappa and net around $450 or so, and then I'm essentially getting $700ish back plus the Google Store credit. BUT, then I would be running the risk of Google's trade-in partner pulling some shenanigans on the trade and rejecting the iPhone. In that case, I'd be losing out on the iPhone credit, but also on the amount I could have gotten for the S22.

I'm leaning towards a third option of just trading it in at Best Buy in person. Only $540 trade it credit, but then I wouldn't have to worry about the trading partner doing something shady. I traded in a broken 3a for the S22, and that went OK, so I am not sure whether I should be that worried or not - I've just heard too many horror stories re: Google support, so I'm hesitant to take the chance on the trade-in. Have any of you had good experiences lately trading in via the Google Store?

I wouldn't trade an s22 for a base pixel 7, the s22 with a telephoto is more on par with the 7 pro.

Like why do you even want a pixel 7 over an s22? The s22 is an objectively better phone, better camera set up, better processor, better gpu

Cashback calculates after the trade in?

I just prefer the Pixels to the Samsungs. The S22 is great, but not a huge fan of the form factor and just wanted the pure Pixel experience, I don't really care about the specs. I only paid $350 for it via the Fi promo, so it's like getting a $350 deal on the 7. My ideal phone would be a Pixel 5 with a newer chip, but since I can't get that I was going to go with a 7.

(And if I hate the 7, I could do another Fi promo and get another S22, assuming the promo is still around)

If you are purchasing from the Google store you can sign up for a $10 a month Google 1 plan here and get 10 percent back. so basically either $60 or $90 depending on the phone. Google store seems to be a better deal for me even though I am on Google Fi as they are offering more money back for my S21 plus the $100 credit. Plus if I go with the 7 I will get another $60. basically will end up with $640 after the Google 1 purchase on a $600 phone.

So even as a Google Fi user seems best to use the Google Store instead of the Fi Store.

If anyone is planning up for signing up for Google Fi referral links after a month service give both people $20. So people could save another $20 that way as well if they are joining Google Fi.

Here is the Google 1 link to plans. $10 a month plan is required for the 10 percent back.

Thanks bro

In Europe - Pixel 7 pro + Watch LTE … 899 Euro = 878 USD
In US - Pixel 7 pro + Watch LTE … 1300 USD

So, for the $422 difference, I can take a holiday trip to Europe and buy the phone+watch from there?
And I think VAT is included in the price in EU.
Whereas Tax is extra here.
