- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

When you are selecting the Pixel 7 /7 Pro.. choose ' Activate Later ' instead of ' Activate Now '. Then Add to Cart, followed by Go To Cart. There should be an option there to add your trade in. Go thru the steps, and you should see a TIV ( Trade in Value ) of $480
I learnt this after a lot of head scratching from a fellow SD member 'hottie' !
Still it is virtually the same size as a s22 Ultra. I mean removing the s pen, smalle display should result in size reduction. Right?
Also considering the hardware issues with Pixel phones going from an s22 ultra to a 7 pro seems like a lateral move at best.
I see it on the Lemongrass option as well

The 7 Pro makes more sense Vs the regular 7. But, it just may be worth it for ( wishful thinking maybe lol ) an improved fingerprint sensor, better RF, and generally improved stability.
Depends on the particular store ( official policy is 'Yes' once you've opened it )
Total cost was something like $230 with the iphone XR purchase if you consider the $100 BB gift card valued around $85, so pretty damn good.
