With Pixel 6 trade in and gift card, it's nearly a free upgrade to 7.

Traded my spare 4a at $320, paid $100 for it and will sell my P6 instead of trading that in. Used PayPal/Flex for 5% CB.

I have a iPhone mini 12 and they are offering 510. Last pixel I had was a pixel 3. Would you guys recommend the trade or not worth? I'm thinking about the non pro version. Thanks

Depends if you like Pixel devices or Android in general. I think $510 for the 12 mini is a very decent offer. I haven't really been happy with my Pixel 6 ( which is why I jumped in on the trade in ) because of fingerprint sensor and RF issues..

I'm hoping the 7 series have improved on these!

That said, my primary SIM will continue to stay in the iPhone 13 Pro Max, though I find iOS pretty limiting for my use case.

Anyone here with a Pixel 6 and NOT thinking about pulling the trigger on this deal? It seems almost too good to be true and I'm looking for the opposing opinion. The Pixel 7 just seems like a slightly faster Pixel 6, nothing really new. But for basically $50, it still seems like a great deal.
Also thinking about trading in my P6 but initial research says the P7 has a slightly smaller but brighter screen. The battery is also slightly smaller than the P6 but has a better front camera. Otherwise, it all seems pretty similar. More of a sidegrade than an upgrade it seems but having a 1 year newer phone for future trade-in never hurts

Basically a 1-for-1 trade that comes down to ecosystem imo. I think I'd make the trade if you aren't already deep in the Apple ecosystem.

The gift card puts it over the top.

anyone upgrading from an S20 FE 5G?

worth it?

it cost $300+tax (and reducing another $100 for the gift card) for me, not the best pricing but i'm not sure the upcoming S23 will be this cheap

Well, it would cost $95 to cross-grade from a Samsung S22+ to the 7Pro.
Trying to decide if I should. 7Pro has a few advantages- Bigger battery, larger zoom camera (5x vs 3x), higher res screen (though the S22+ does go brighter) and 12GB Ram vs 8.
And clean OS.
I have been really happy with my S22+, but might be worth the $95.

As a long time iPhone user, I bought my first Google phone with a Pixel 6 as part of the $200 Best Buy promo a few days ago, and also got a Samsung S22 as part of the flip3 trade in promo a few weeks back. I'll probably be flamed for this but neither of them look or feel anything like a nearly-flagship phone. I would probably trade your phone in, sell the pixel 7, and then buy a new iPhone 13 mini.

Honestly the pricing on Android flagships seems completely arbitrary. The Pixel 6/6a are definitely worth $200, but nowhere near the non-sale asking price of $450-$600.

This seems like pretty solid advice as well.
