Trade-in value notes:
- In states CA (please add more), tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo).
- In states NJ, NY, tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal).
- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

With the recent trade-in deals the samsung flagships - s22 ultra and fold 4 can be had for around 30-35 percent of retail price. These are released less than 7-8 months ago.
A lot of folks taking advantage of this deal are swapping a Pixel 6 for Pixel 7 hoping it will have less hardware issues.
just get the pro model the moon shots r so good and the zoom is getting about 25% increase
this is totally going finally top the samsung ultra in zoom
I have a pixel 6 that I'm paying monthly for at TMobile (11 out of 24 months) but I'm not happy with a lot of things.
It gets too hot easily, FP scanner is annoying, and battery life is not what I was hoping for (charging is slow as well), and the biggest one being the 5G always hunting and draining battery life.
"When we receive your trade-in item, we'll confirm that it matches the information you provided in the estimate, then we'll refund your payment method the final trade-in value, including any associated tax."
Odd the white 7 128 doesn't get gc.

I hope the 7 will take care of 2 issues with my Pixel 6 I disliked enough to switch back to using my Pixel 5A. The Pixel 6 is just too big/heavy. The 7 appears nearly identical to the 5A - very good. I also hated the front fingerprint sensor. The 7 is adding face unlock which should hopefully eliminate that aggravation.
For a net cost of about $70 after trade-in and BB gift card, it seems like a low cost gamble on a phone that is [hopefully] improved from its predecessor.
I'd also note that I never had any signal issues, overheating, or battery issues with my Pixel 6, just didn't like its size and front fingerprint sensor.
It's nearly identical to the 5a in size but .5oz heavier - hopefully just right as I really like the size of my 5a.
You can look up the dimensions/weights and do comparisons of phones on phonearena.com.
No such restriction. Also it says no expiration. It should be just like a regular eGC.
