- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

My pixels from 1-3 are all still working fine. My daughter uses my old 3xl and only recently cracked the screen.
Personally, I also have a 6 I'll be trading in for this deal. My wife and I got 6 pro and 6 respectively when they were first released but suffered from terrible reception issues that made the phones pretty much unusable when not on wifi. If you read the thread, many others have said the same. Wife jumped to S22 Ultra after about a month. I lived with it as I'm usually on wifi. The reception issues have waned from getting better to worse to better between various updates. They currently still exist. I and many others believe there is a hardware deficiency in the Samsung modems they are using. Unfortunately they're using a Samsung modem again though it's a newer one. I'm going to trade up hoping that the network issues are fixed as I love the software of Pixels but if they aren't, I'm going with an S23 when it comes out.
