Trade-in value notes:
- In states CA (please add more), tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo).
- In states NJ, NY, tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal).
- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

I have not been taking many videos on my phone so far but I suspect I will be taking more videos going forward, especially with the improved video on the new pixel 7 series.
Free Google photos cloud storage is priceless to me especially when I have many Terabytes of photos/videos saved over the years that I can access easily anytime and anywhere.
Go buy a used Pixel 1 if you can find one.
Cheers.

Ideally they'll give us the option to transfer and trade-in there, or check the IMEI and visually inspect the old phone (I'm trading in a P6), then let us take home both to do the transfer. Then go back to the store with the old phone after the P7 is up and running.

Secondly, isn't that deal expired?

BB's trade in value for my 128gb P4XL is $5 less but looks a little better with a $200 gift card, I'm sure I can find a use for it.
Saw someone else mention the lemongrass colourway but I haven't seen that one listed as available for the P7 Pro, assuming that one is exclusive to standard P7 model?
The $200 BB gift card is only showing up on the Obsidian colourway, on both PC and mobile.
EDIT #3: The listing for Snow colourway has been updated to displaying the gift card promo
Hazel is also not available right now on BB for preorder, anyone know if it's coming soon / before the trade in promotion ends?
EDIT: Okay, checked again an hour later and now it's changed from 'Notify me' to available for preorder again 🤔
EDIT #2: Now back to 'Notify me', must have limited availability of this one
Also as my P4XL is unlocked, and that's not an option on the trade-in menu, should I select T-mobile as the carrier (that's who I use, I have a grandfathered Walmart-Tmo prepaid plan)?
