- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

2. Back up manually, what kind of data you would need to save tho, just some pic, come on, just plug in PC, load it, drag it, done.
3. If really want to make a copy of the old one, done it in store using a USBC, and do set up transfer by wire.
Finally, I wonder how people still not using google cloud, or icloud, dropbox, saving pic and gamesaves, contact, etc... feel so old if not doing those, and make your life even worst by joining this promo deal. If so, just buy iPhone, apple genuine bar will do all that for free.

Bigger screen, better modem, bigger battery, USB-C, no notch, faster refresh rate makes everything feel smooth. Tensor 2 chip feels much faster than A14.
Cons:
Camera slightly worse, speakers not as good (turns out have a speaker on the screen results in better sound). Screen seems slightly less bright when maxing out both phones.
So its about even. Definitely a competitive phone but it isn't high end.
