- The $100 gift card is now included with the Pixel 7 in Snow, as of October 11.

Trade-in value notes:
- In states CA (please add more), tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo).
- In states NJ, NY, tax is charged on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal).
- NJ: When I did an in-store pickup of an online-order, tax was automatically calculated on (price - TIV_promo - TIV_normal). But when I did an in-store purchasing today, tax was calculated on (price - TIV_promo). According to the representative, this is because TIV_normal is processes as a GC and it has to be applied after the checkout, so the tax is charged on that part. Don't know if this is all true to CA or other states.

- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

Trade-in part was a bit weird. Sheet he gave me showed only $70 credit, but he said bonus would show in final order. Guess makes sense, since, bonus seems to be taken directly off price.
Online final order details does show:
Product Total: $349.00
Discounts
Reward Certificates: -$20.00
Sales Tax, Fees & Surcharges: $18.78
Taxes have been updated
Trade-In Device -$70.00
Order Total $277.78
Still worried until credit shows up, initial charge is still at $620.
Really love the lemongrass color. Was planning on ordering another as I have another Pixel 4a 5G to trade (plus see if I can use the $100 credit I just got), but seems lemongrass is OOS at all stores and shipping. Will have to settle for snow.
P7 base price= $599
Total Trade-in= $510 split into two parts:
$210= tradein device value
$300= tradein promotion (this one reduces P7 base price from $599 to $299 for tax calculations)
So final invoice...
product price= $299
tax= $21.68
tradein = -$210
Order Total = $110.68
Gift card = $100 (got within 1hr)
Net total excluding GC = $10.68... slick!
Just transferred over all the data from my current 4a5g, still setting up apps, but first impression it's pretty smooth so far. Noticed it heating up a bit while it was transferring the data and updating apps, etc but it was momentarily. I really want to check how it behaves with wireless android auto. My 4a5g gets super hot and drains battery like crazy on wireless AA

The UNLOCKED Pixel 7 or Pro does not work with Total Wireless, Visible or any third party using Verizon towers...the UNLOCKED version will work if you are on Verizon directly..this has been reported to Google and no one know if this will be fixed
Also the egift card can not be used to purchase another phone, at least you do not have that option online when you try to purchase another phone
Been wanting to get a card to get some money back but just never got around to it and seems like I'm missing out on a ton of offers.

My Frisco store isn't processing online pickup ordered saying they are unable to get full trade in value for online orders.
Did you do online order pickup at Lewisville? Did they process it correctly?

Added Pixel 7 Pro to cart on Best Buy site: $899
Added Pixel 6 trade in (perfect condition): $ - 230
Pixel 6 trade in promotional credit: $ - 280
Also see in checkout that $200 Gift Card will be emailed to me after I pick up the phone.
So I go to store. Store only shows $230 trade in. Nobody knows anything, except someone else had the same problem as me earlier. After over an hour with a supervisor talking on the phone to Best Buy higher ups, they have no solution. I went to the Best Buy app on my phone, did everything again, and showed him the checkout page with everything itemized as described above, and shows my total at checkout should be $419 + tax. He has no answer other than to "try again tomorrow, maybe something is wrong with system."
Anyone else have this experience?
