- I've done in-store trade-ins a few times at Best Buy. They only do a cursory look at the phone, to make sure it matches the color and condition. They don't care if it is carrier locked or is still being financed. -RonaldM

1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

Have I and am I still tempted to trade in mine for a Pixel, especially with these aggressive deals? You betcha. Will I? No. Imho the build quality of the Galaxy still feels higher quality, the speakers are much better, the screen is still on a different level (something people probably only notice if they would actually have both devices), reception is stronger (measured dbm ratings and the ultra consistently pulls anywhere from 18-22 dbm more) and honestly the camera hardware itself can still produce (to me at least) more impressive pictures without relying on software trickery as much - but ofc Samsung still suffers from its shutter lag with less than good lighting conditions.
Long story short: if you have the S22 Ultra at least and have new phone envy.. I wouldn't go for the short term gratification of a new device. Unless you truly can't live with Samsung's UI etc or must have the AI calling assistant etc. OR - if you use the base S22 I would probably trade in as well.
Major props to Google though for finally producing a Pixel again that after the 4 series and the og HTC Nexus makes me want to go back to the pure Google experience.

Most of the ones I see on Amazon are $10+. Being a slickdealer I'd prefer something around $5-6!!
