1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

P7 128 gb black ordered 10/13, arrived at store and ready to pick up 10/19.
P7 256 gb black ordered 10/17, estimated to arrive today, rec'd delay message late this evening.
Need to place one more order for a P7 256 but was waiting to complete these first two so I could use the gift card on it. If it gets too close to the 23rd I'm just going to have to place the order regardless.

I traded in pixel 6 pro for a 7. I paid $650 through Paypal, then got $565 refund. I just noticed today that my Chase Freedom credit card gave 5*650=3250 points, but only took 565 points back. That's a surprising extra ~$22 saving.
