Don't forget to add your second controller! I forgot so going back to the store smh
Got one for pickup along with a Volt Green controller, also got a 15% off instore coupon from Target Circle for some reason. $227 out the door, done deal!
I know it's a repost, but stores are showing in stock again and original is in "Deal Talk".

Forgot to add the other controller but I used my 15% coupon. Think I can explain it to them in the store on pickup?

I just feel like the S is good for light gamers, I mean isn't the hard drive only half a TB? This pricing is really appealing though

The Series S must sell in numbers that are a small fraction of the Series X model.

With cloud gaming and some management, it's not that bad for most people. I personally couldn't do it, and went with the Series X instead since I have like 5TB of games. However, most folks only play a couple of games, so it's definitely do-able.

Agree. I thought it may be an issue, but a LOT of games are from 2gb to 30gb. Some AAA games will be around 100gb, but I can fit 2 AAA games and a whole bunch of indies and smaller games. When I want to try out some new gamepass games, I just cloud play, which on console is a GREAT experience.

I have both the Series S & X. S is setup on a 1440p curved gaming monitor. X is setup on a 4k 120hz TV with HDR & VRR. I play on both and while I can see the differences when switching consoles, I find that I have to mostly look for them. A lot of the differences comes down to objects in the background not being as clear or jagged. If you have a new TV with all the latest technologies, go X. If not and your using the same TV that you did with your last generation console, S might be a good choice.

They had tons of the tvs they had on sale but for some reason, all the stores around me had between 0 and 3 Xboxes. I hope it's not like that for everyone or why even have a sale.

Just plug in any old hard drive you have lying around. It works for most games.

I bought both a ps5 (with disc) and the series S (as someone who traditionally has hated xbox).

I find that I use the gamepass with the series S about 5 times as much as I use my ps5. the selection of games on PS5 (and ps+ basic) are just not that great. part of that, is that I've never owned an xbox so I'm playing catch up on all these games I've never played before that are available on gamepass...but that said, I'm enjoying the S plenty. i don't think i would have benefitted from paying more for the X.

i am a fairly light gamer though, unless I'm stuck into something i only play 2 hours a week.
