A 1 year old ipad is not the "newest and greatest". It also loses 20% of it's life/updates for those that use financial apps and such because updates stop after 5 years. You're now buying a device that will last 4 years instead of 5.
Complete nonsense! This IS the most recent 11" iPad Pro. By definition, that makes it the 'latest & greatest'.

Quote from Slimeyface :
I don't think I'm following. You're saying financial apps stop updates after 5 years? Any examples here?
He is making a whole lot of assumptions which don't add up.

I'll just say this - any 'finance guy' who is so poor that he is using a 4 yr old iPad for mission critical finance Apps should re-think his life choices. Having an out-dated App on his iPad is the least of his problems! 🤣

Walmart instantly canceled my order (twice) due to issues with buying too large a quantity (I purchased ONE) and then blocked me from ordering it again for 24 hours, which was fine since Best Buy pricematched it and I'd rather get it from them anyway. I've had it with Walmart.

Is the Logitech Combo touch worth it for the 169 + 5% red card discount?
Appreciate if people who have used it or compared to other keyboard/case can opine.

Confused between this and Ipad AIR as both are same prices. Any recommendations?
Get the PRO. It has higher refresh screen, higher brightness, more storage, face ID, better speakers, better rear camera, thunderbolt. Also better battery life according to tests.

You can usually find Air on sale for $550, but that $50 still worth it to get those extra features.

It is highly regarded by reviewers. Not as good as Apple's Magic Keyboard (what is?), but highly functional and a very good value. Check out these two videos for details.

It's the App that should get security updates, not the device! Don't you know anything?!?!

Target return deadline: Jan. 9. Walmart return deadline: Jan 31. Still recommend ordering from Walmart though.
The return date was clearly Jan 31 when I placed the order last night for these (would be nice if someone might have a screenshot showing such). Today morning the website indicates a 30-day return policy which is a bit confusing Confused

I guess we will know once the order gets delivered and what Walmart will reflect as "Eligible for return through..." against the order.

Just posting here for anyone that might be ordering today though.

Thanks,

When I ordered it said it could be returned up to January 31 due to the holidays. Figured might as well buy now and wait and see if anything better comes along.
Where do you see extended returns? I only see 30 days on item page and their holiday return page says "most " items

Completely agree - the Logitech Combo touch are a great alternative especially as the only company that seems to have gotten the official approval / licensing from Apple (since their Combo touch keyboards are the only ones besides Magic Keyboard that have the three connectors in the case and all other third party keyboards seem to connect via Bluetooth).

Anyway, speaking of the reviews, after placing our order for the Ipad Pro 11 last night, my wife and I were looking at options for keyboard/case etc. since the device will be used by our middle schooler as well. Pretty much all of the reviews talked about all the ways the Logitech Combo is better and even improved over its own previous version (bigger trackpad, much better - surface like - tilt angle, detachable keyboard but still get protective case, better pricing, etc.) but then the biggest "con" was that it could not be used for typing as easily on the lap as the Magic keyboard. Honestly - this con from pretty much all reviews we saw (when weighed against all the other pros) - and then the reviewer saying that "I would pick Magic Keyboard because of ease of typing on my lap" made it sound like they had to find something about the Logitech to "nitpick" just to please their "Apple contacts (Lords?)".

To be fair, yes, the "type on lap" is a true statement but I feel realistically the number of people it affects might be likely smaller than the reviewers make it out when weighed against all the pros. I mean the Logitech keyboard AND pen that work with this iPad currently cost less ($265) when purchased as a combo on Amazon compared to the official Magic keyboard itself. laugh out loud

</end rant>Smilie

See my reply in this thread just before your post - it was clearly showing Return Eligible through Jan 31 when I placed my order last night but today morning the website seems to have been updated to say 30-day returns. So, yes - there is that confusion and I hope it will be clarified in the coming days and especially once the order is delivered and Walmart updates its "Eligible for return through..." information for the order.

Hope it helps,
-Topper.
