I have this machine for almost 10 years (older version and this version) and walks flawlessly. Actual installation takes about 10 minutes (finding wall studs, drilling, and linking to your phone). After you install it to your wall just plug the machine into your NEMA plug and never mess with that plug again. Go charge your car afterwards.
The app is minimal, but functional. It's got timers, start/stop, energy used, schedules, etc.
All the basic stuff is there, and I can't think of any "nice to haves" that are missing.
Price is the lowest I've seen so far. I paid $549.99 in January and considered that to be a solid deal after CB, energy tax credit, etc.
Installation by an electrician in my area was much more reasonable than I expected. $270 for a basic 50A circuit on the existing panel.
I had charged overnight on L1 120V for a year and a half with no issues, but for $800 installed it's well-worth it to top off a charge anytime at 8x the L1 speed.
