3 month bonus appears to apply to *any* new activation, regardless of where and when you purchased pre-paid Mint Mobile card. I typically have 2 spare cards in my "go bag" and automatically qualified for bonus when activating during this promo window. I primarily use this for data, and buy new cards every 3 mos.
TIP: Easiest way to activate is to place new SIM in your phone. Dial any number, and it will kick over to an automated Mint Mobile activation line. Enter a zip code and will then activate and recite your new phone number (but often drops call before you hear the rest of it). Don't fret, they will text you the new number anyhow.

I'm 7 months into my prepaid year, will mint mobile extend my plan by 6 months with this offer? Thanks in advance!
They throttle you so hard that's its basically unusable. I think you get around maybe 12kbps of you're lucky after your data is up. I couldn't check my email much at all. Using navigation was not much of an option if you didn't download the area. Basic things like using messaging apps were pretty much unreliable (slack, discord, whatsapp). It will just fail sending or say "connecting" forever.
Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone looking to switch. Just make sure the data cap you need is sufficient or be prepared to spend $10 per gb extra or expect your phone to be useless with anything data related after.
same, I just cancelled my google fi which was costing me $27 a month with no data at all.

Visible - At the time they only had one plan, it was terrible. Felt soooooo slow, lag on pages loading like always. Speed tests showed capped data speed but no biggie, the deprioritizaition was felt hard which was the problem for me.
Tello - Was great, fast, no worries, I was hit with the data being so slow after your allotted amount you basically can't do anything. But, my fault.
Mint - Moved to mint for eSim and a phone deal. Service has been great so far, including hotspot. Mint and Tello both used T-Mobile and in the Phoenix area it has been perfect. Very happy with Mint, especially for the price.
