Mint has gone to complete sh*t. nothing like it used to be. Customer service does nothing if you're trying to remedy one of the many issues they're having, and they are somehow prioritized below all the other tmobile mvno's
I saw that added more data to each plan, but kept the price the same. What price jacking are you referring to?
No they just get a new mint number and they still use their existing Google voice number for everything. They just change the forwarding number (which will be the new mint number) and it's business as usual

I don't think existing customers can just buy this to add on to their expiring buy 3/get 3 months free plans

Google voice users who intend on getting a new mint number are the "existing customers" that can use it again.

Target has an ongoing promo - $25 Target GiftCard when you buy a select Mint Mobile Plan SIM Kit through 6/17/2023. New subscribers only.

Works for any 3 month or 12 month sim. For the 3 month 5GB plan this works out to a net price of $20 for 3 months service.

Mint Sims work great with Google Voice. For those rolling off the winter buy 3 get 3 free promo, this is a good option to extend until next winter.

Redcard and Circle discounts stack.

15gig 3month plan is $60.
60-25 = 35 or $12/month
slightly more expensive than best buy when they have their 1/2 price Mint sales. ($10/month)

when does the $25 giftcard offer expire?

Agree with you totally. Since t-mo bought them out data speeds have gone to complete crap. Not only that, but it seems on their newest sim cards they have some sort of lock where you can't fully change the APN settings so that maybe it would work a bit better. I think the Mint Mobile fun times are pretty much done. T-mo will try to bring over the Mint customers and let Mint burn.
Despite that, this is still a pretty cheap deal if you can use the Target gift card. If you were on Mint before, just don't expect it to work as well as it used to.

Does "through 6/17" mean I have to order the SIM from Target before 6/17 or that I have to activate with Mint before 6/17?

Great deal op. It says free shipping when I add to cart but adds 5.99 at the checkout page. Anyone know why?

Been on Mint for over 2 years now. It's been a good experience for me. I'm not a heavy data user, so I just do the 10 gb per month plan. Saves me a lot of money over my old AT&T plan. I get 5G coverage most places I go.
