just got the iphone XR from tracfone deal for 99 + $15 per month plan. It showing warranty till Feb-16-23.

Also when I text UNLOCK to 611611 . it says your phone will be automatically unlock on 12-12-2022

Depend on what you are trying to do, trade in or get it unlock?

Remember Verizon bought over Tracfone family including straight talk and Totalwireless. So iPhones purchased get unlocked after activation for minimum one month and waiting 60 days. Sometimes you need to call Tracfone unlocking service to get it unlock.

The iPhone XR received include an instruction to activate either through Straight Talk or Total Wireless… thus my extra explanation above.

Don't think it is a lifetime. I had ordered approximately five iPhone 6s/plus, two iPhone SE, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini (Walmart) and now two iPhone XR but from all the various Tracfone group including Net10.

Not required but charged your phone, my came in flat. The $35 is not a phone card. Tied to your phone and the sim card, not sure you can activate on other phones at all.

iPhone 11 is newer and likely to retain value for future trade in. If your iPhone 11 is unlock, can be use as backup. If you are on a plan with T-Mobile Verizon Att, trade in promo value is currently same for XR and 11.

BEWARE: If you receive a non-Verizon sim, you need to wait a year for unlocking the phone. Bought an iPhone 11 from SimpleMobile which is also acquired by Verizon, but the sim sent was non-Verizon and had to return. Now waiting for the refund Frown

If you bought it for less than $150, trade in even to Apple Store get you up to $220 Apple gift card for the iPhone 11.

So I ordered the iPhone 11 with plan from another deal with ST for $185 plus tax but 30 mins later I changed my mind so I called them up to cancel but to my surprise I was told once ordered they cannot cancel so I can either refuse delivery or return it myself. So make sure you guys really need it before placing an order and this is what I was advised by their customer rep. I was like wtf..lol.
