Also when I text UNLOCK to 611611 . it says your phone will be automatically unlock on 12-12-2022
Remember Verizon bought over Tracfone family including straight talk and Totalwireless. So iPhones purchased get unlocked after activation for minimum one month and waiting 60 days. Sometimes you need to call Tracfone unlocking service to get it unlock.
The iPhone XR received include an instruction to activate either through Straight Talk or Total Wireless… thus my extra explanation above.

In for one. As mentioned above users I don't put the sim and will do direct trade in to bestbuy.
It shows unlocked.
So here is my math with random 10% tax and rounding up to zeros.
iphone xr with plan and tax = $99+$35+10% tax =~$150 (or $145 as someone posted).
Pixel 7 Pro 128 GB = $900+10% tax = $990
Gift card - $200
Trade in value -$415
Total OOP = 990-615=375
I'd wait for xmas / new year costco deals with T-Mo where there is no monthly credit things.
