for those who don't need the gimbal feature (which is real useful), HF has the 3 sizes as a combo for $4.99

Useful tool, sure, but where's the slickdeal? Retail pricing, and historically high at that.

I picked up the 3/8" version years ago. Comes in handy for tight places.
Looks like it's on sale as well:

It is thanks! Also, I bought both and it's $2 cheaper to buy each one separately instead of both together.

Thumbs up. I would buy it again if I didn't already have it. Great deal on a pretty handy tool. Use it for tight spots on the euros with all the torx bolts.

Work on cars all the time and I can't think of a single time this would have come in handy.

yes, unless you are popeye this doesn't substitute for a wrench. where i find it useful is when you would otherwise need a stubby screwdriver. i used mine last month to remove a panel held in place with torx head screws and 4 inches clearance from the wall. sure you could do manage it with a small ratchet, but screws are easier to deal with when your hand is centered over the fastener, especially when starting them. This is perfect for that and transfers torque better than a screwdriver. I use it maybe four times per year, but i'm very glad for it when i need it.

I have a Bronco with removable hard top. Takes 10 bolts to remove the back top and most of them have a tight area where you don't get much from a normal rachet since it's a small area. This would be fantastic for that. Probably not useful for most car work but I can see spots around the house for low torque situations.

Nor can I. If you have the vertical clearance for this you have the vertical clearance for a ratchet. If you can get your big fat hand in there to turn this you have clearance for a ratchet handle. Maybe in some really specialized senario on a fastener requiring zero break free torque. If vertical clearance is big enough for your arm use a screwdriver.
