I'm intrigued .... just bought a Pixel 6 (256gb) 2 weeks ago for $300. I like it, although battery life leaves a little to be desired. Credit is $500 towards a Pixel 7 256gb.

So $200 to go up a version. Worth it? I'm on the fence...

Crazy..Google charges tax on the entire pixel 7 MSRP and NOT on the difference of (Pixel 7 - Old device Trade in value) ! Sigh.

Don't see that for Samsung S10+, still the same trade-in value, unfortunately.
Yeah, still the same $340 for the S10 5G, too. I can wait to see what else pops up, or for BF. No rush for me, just tempted by all these trade in deals and something new and shiny.

That's because it is essentially two transactions. Not sure about in store, but it is literally two transactions if you do this online and mail in your trade in. It has to be that way since they can't finalize the purchase of your old device until they receive and evaluate it.

Does anyone know how long before these enhanced trade in values will expire?

Online tech companies confirmed 7 Pro screen burns 4W outdoor at 600 nits, while Samsung screen burns the same wattage at 1100 nits. It's something to consider if you are an outdoorsie and care about battery life and all that.

I'm torn on this as the S22 Ultra is better here to trade than Best Buy m, but Google trade in is a nightmare and very anxiety ridden. Your usps tracking will never say delivered and it's random when they will receive it. Lots of horror stories
Sounds like a downgrade to me.

Basically iphones have been boosted to BB rates, but no gift card so you're still coming out short compared to BB
Exactly. They're offering $595 for the iphone 12, I traded one in to BB for $590 and got a $100 GC on top of it.

How strict is Google store with inspection of trade-in? I have a S22 with a minor scratch in display (not easily noticeable).

I'm curious, with regards to the Best Buy Pixel 7 trade-in offer, do you have to have a qualified post-paid service plan (i.e. with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.), to be eligible for the trade-in offer? Or, can you just walk in to a Best Buy store, with en eligible trade-in phone, and complete the purchase and trade-in offer?

And if this is possible to just walk in to a Best Buy store and trade in an old phone and complete the process, do you get credited/refunded for the trade-in amount immediately? Or, is it similar to how it works with the Google Store trade-in process, where you have to pay for the phone upfront, then, wait to be credited/refunded?

Also, will Best Buy accept a trade-in phone that has a damaged/cracked screen, like Google Store will?

If someone is familiar with this Best Buy trade-in process and would be willing to reply and share some helpful feedback, it would be very much appreciated.
