Because best buy is not giving you same trade in credit. It's same inclusive of the gift card so you are PAYING for agift card as you are forced to go buy some junk from best buy that you probably don't need.

CB website giving 4% that you will get on full amount with google so tax is neglible.

Not true at all. BB gave me $420+tax ($455) for my XR + a $100 gc. Clearly the better deal.

Your P7 Price + XR price - Tradein of iPhone 8 is good but how come this 395 is coming into picture here ? You are using your existing store credit ?

If I understand correctly You are using your $395 store credit that you can use for anything else. Then you also deduct the new store credit and call it effectively. That calculation doesn't seem right. I would say effectively it is $335 for you.

It would be hugely remiss for them to bait and switch and give store credit since it says ON THE BOTTOM of the trade in invoice email that your trade-in credit method is your credit card ending in #1234 or whatever.

No condition where "if your trade in is worth big bucks, sorry, you lose!"

Faq only states credit in case where you return phone that trade-in was initiated for.


I can also paste the chat log confirming otherwise if anyone wants. I really want to get my credits out of google store purgatory and I don't need 10 pixel phones lol.

From having the S21 ultra and the Pixel 6 Pro, I'm glad I switched to the 21 Ultra. Pixel runs extremely hot, pictures were much worse, AI didn't save it. Idk, I wanted to like the Pixel 6 Pro but that one felt like a $200 phone honestly. Brightness is also an issue on that phone, s21 ultra was brighter. The only benefit is probably that you can find better no curved screen protectors that have touch support for fingerprint.

Exactly what I did, but I did it using the a71.

Combined the $449.90 credit from that (Inc Google one 10%) with $300 credit from trading in a pixel 4a, and I'm basically making $95 on the purchase of the 7. It's an MM
