Woah, that's awesome! I'll have to look into that in a year, lol. Thanks for the info! I had no idea it was a thing, lol.
Yeah, I'm actually looking to fill 2 spots as we speak at $20/mo. It drops from $40 with 2 all the way to $25 with 3 so even small groups it's really reasonable. Just my 2c.

Anyway, yeah this Mint deal is so slick good lord, and it's having reverberating effects in the aftersale market. I'm finding it hard to move new Pixel 7's at $450 sealed in the box and I see sellers offloading 7P for $700 on ebay. Crazy.

Does anyone know if this needs to be activated immediately or if I can activate the line a few months later when my current plan with another provider expires?

If anyone doesn't want the service, I'd be willing to buy it from you. PM me. I got the 6a deal from Mint la few months ago when they had a similar offer. I don't think there would be any issues reselling it. The SIM card contains an activation code, which is used when you sign up on their website. I have a number available that I can port in as well.
PMed you.

Within 45 days of placement of order I guess.. you can wait it out a month or so.

Someone else said within 45 days earlier but I didn't corroborate it

What happens if we don't port in and activate by then? Do we lose the service? Or do they charge you extra for not porting in?

You will likely lose it. There's nothing at the current moment in the terms that would indicate you would get charged for not porting in.

Is it esim and nano sim capable simultaneously? And any option to install a SD card. These days 128gb is skimpy for my use as a Realtor. I take too many pictures for marketing and inspections

What a great deal. Too bad I have a Pixel 6 to trade in. If I take this deal, I would pay a total of $658.02 for the phone & service that I won't use.
But if I trade in, I would pay $976 (total) - $48.80 (5% cash back) - $490 (trade in) = $437.20
But if I go with Mint:
$658.02 (total) - $32.90 (5% cash back) = $625.12. So I essentially just need to pay $187.92 ($625.12 - $437.20) extra and I get to keep my Pixel 6 phone and I get 1 year of service with Mint.

No more SD card slot in high end phones.
I think Sony phones have it
