Chase offers select Chase Cardholders: Up to 50% Ultimate Rewards Redemption Bonus for select Apple Products when redeeming Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to pay. Valid through 11/30/2022.
Thanks to Community Member sbessire for sharing this deal.
Note: Your Redemption Bonus will vary from 10% to 50% depending on the type of Chase card you have. Your credit card will be charged the full remaining dollar amount over your points redemption; for example, if you choose to buy Apple merchandise at $120 at $1.50 redemption value (50% bonus), and you use 4,000 points ($40 worth of points w/ 50% bonus = $60), your credit card would be billed for the remaining $60.
Chase ultimate rewards points are worth 50% more on apple products with sapphire reserve and 25% more on apple products with sapphire preferred or ink business preferred.
I realize many would rather use them for travel, but we don't travel and pay yourself back has been lousy.

Unfortunately, it's kind of a fake value, as you can get most apple products at discounts nowadays. So your value is still less than the 1.5 or 1.25 than they make you believe it is.
some more example
for my upcoming trip to Japan in Jun
Transfer 10K to AVIOS for redeem of 2 domestic Japan ticket worth $200 USD
1 point to 2 cents
Transfer 47K to Virgin Atlantic (with chase 30% transfer bonus) for a FIRST CLASS ticket from HND-JFK worth $5000 USD
1 point to 10.6 cents
Setting aside you being aggressive for no reason.. I think any nay-sayers on this deal are focused on the opportunity cost. If you value your points at 1 cent per point, then I agree that AirPods for about 20k points is fantastic. But it's relatively easy to get $300 of value out of 20k Chase UR points by transferring to an airline. And sometimes even higher than that by transferring to hotel/airline for point redemption towards a high-end flight or hotel stay. So 20k Chase UR points, with either a Sapphire Preferred or Reserve card, are worth somewhere between $300 and $700. So the opportunity cost is you getting AirPods for 20k points.. vs a flight or hotel stay that would cost you 2-3x the cost of the AirPods.

I don't even see iPad Pros from last year. I could be wrong but looks like only iPad Air, Mini, and regular iPad can be purchased through Chase Rewards.
They had iPad Pros there the other day. My guess is that they are updating it right now.
Could you share the price of a current item with your Chase Sapphire Preferred?
I'm seeing the same as Attera - the iPad Pros are not listed now. They were priced at $799 for the 11" and $1099 for the 12.8". Hopefully they will show up again with the latest M2 models before the promotion ends.

Yeah even though the redemption isn't amazing, it's not like the newest ones are going to be on sale for awhile and the purchase is less fleeting than a vacation.
Am I crazy or hasn't Chase Sapphire been doing a "Pay yourself back and get a 50% bonus towards your points" deal for quite some time? So you could buy the same products anywhere, then use your points to pay yourself back for the exact same deal right? As long as you bought it from a store that qualified for the pay yourself back thing, this isn't a deal is it?
PYB on the Sapphire Reserve only applies to airbnb, dining, and charities... none of whom to my knowledge sell Apple products.
PYB on the Sapphire Preferred is even more restrictive, only airbnb and charities

Can one get chase sapphire reserve as a business card as well?
There is no business version of the sapphire cards
sounds like if I got a $1000 charge for an airbnb on my chase card, and i only get the 25%, not the 50% bonus for apple products, i come out ahead just by using my chase points to do a pay me back to my $1000 airbnb bill since the bonus is 50%.
even if i found a 50% bonus for apple products on any my chase cards i still would be ahead using points to cover a airbnb charge.
Did this last year for an Apple Watch and it took 3 months to get delivered. If they give you a long shipping estimate, know that it will be every bit of that time before your item arrives.
I ordered an iPhone 14 Pro Max right when this was available. It told me two weeks for shipping then. Now it's showing Nov 29th for shipping, so they've already added a month.
i am seeing the ipad pro m2 on the site now, even though it's being panned by most, 33% off using points seemed reasonable to me as my last ipad pro was 2018.

Except you can't get such a bonus difference.
The bonus is exactly the same for both things on the same card.

Same here. When I ordered it said 2 to 3 weeks. Called yesterday to cancel and they said it takes 3 to 5 days for the cancellation to go through and get my points back
how much do you guys have to spend to make up for the $300 annual fee?
Usually the highest tier cards have a defined benefit you use which offsets the AF. If not, then there's rarely value unless you're constantly buying things for someone else (like travel reimbursement)
Ex: you travel a lot and use door dash and instacart on the regular.
CSR AF is $550.
-$300 you get back as a direct credit for travel.
-$120 dashpass sub cost ($10/mo x 12)
-> includes $5 credit each month for doordash orders
-$100 instacart+ membership
-$180 instacard order reimbursements ($15 max, each month)
IF (and only if) you use those services, you come out ahead by $150 doing what you usually do, and that's ignoring the $100 every three years for GlobalEntry and whatever value you place on Priority Pass for entry into airport lounges, plus the bonus on miles when used for promos or travel. If you churn cards and stay under the limit, the 80k point sign up bonus is $1200 in travel. I have the Venture X because the AF and benefits more closely align with what I need.

25% for CSP, 50% for CSR.
say... if it's 25% on the CSP for apple products and 25% PYB on airbnb at 25%
and on the CSR it's 50% for apple products and 50% PYB on airbnb..
It's still better to do the PYB on either card, because you are getting chase points for initially purchasing the airbnb....
In contrast, you don't get points, but are using points, to buy the apple products.
so we would come out ahead leaving the apple offer alone. Unless I am missing something?

It was full price but with the points it came out to be about 25% off, plus I didn't have to pay for it.
I went with it.
I supposed u get more variety of redemption with travel

Much higher value per point too, esp for Hyatt hotel transfers or premium airfare transfers
