Disable "Mobile Services" app - it has nothing to with mobile services, instead it installs bloatware on its own.
Disable 1Weather app, Moto comes with its own weather widget.
Remove all permissions from My Account (can be removed) and Device Pulse (can't be disabled or removed), these track your usage.
Even when the phone is unlocked and you move to another service, these apps will continue to do their thing unless you disable or remove them.
It is upgradeable to android 11. I don't think it will receive android 12 upgrade since Motorola typically only gives 1 android version update.

Thanks for the replies though.
The balance was there for maybe 5 minutes, then got zeroed out.
QVC say to return it and get charged $8 for return shipping.

it does it so fast that unless that app is disabled immediately on original setup, you'll get bloatware before you get your own apps or regular app updates.

"Go to the app in the Play Store. Find the 3-dot menu in top right corner. Tap it, then uncheck Auto-update. It will still show up in the update list. If you tap Update All, it will ask permission on that app, and you can decline."

I want to eventually switch these flip phone plans to my iphone 8. Do I have to use Tracfone BYOP Verizon SIM kit, so I can't use this Tracfone AT&T SIM card?
