Oh, I use it all too, but for most of it I wouldn't use it otherwise. I used the $200 hotel credit for an $800 a night room in Seattle that without the credit I would have just stayed at a $300 hotel.
I prefer doordash but I use uber eats because of the credit. I wouldn't use it otherwise.
Incidentals on airlines is a awful perk. But I use it to buy flight credit with united even though united flights out of dfw are awful. I would never use the credit otherwise.
Centurion lounge CAN be nice, but most aren't. Dfw is middling. Iah is laughable. Las is fine but always has a line 50+ deep waiting to get in. Etc.
And csr does provide doordash and instacart benefits if you want to add everything up.
But again, for point transfers, csr blows amex platinum away. And that's what most important for me.
What do you mean flight credits? L8ke points or a gift card?
Does anyone remember how long I need to wait to reapply for the CSR after I downgrade it to a freedom card to be eligible for the bonus again? I believe it was 3 weeks but not 100% sure....TIA
So, I added my wife as additional card member for amex and capital one, and she holds a discover by herself. Has about 720 credit score. Does the additional cards are considered under the 5/24 rule or just the Discover?

As long as you don't have an open "Sapphire" card. I switched to Freedom 10/13, statement closed 10/23, applied 10/27 and was instantly approved. For getting the card, you'll need to follow the 5/24. I thought I remember reading 48 months since last Sapphire reward redemption.

Apparently, being an authorized user on your 2 credit cards counts against your wife's 5/24 count. But I believe that you can remove her as an authorized user, and that should update her 5/24 count as well (though she may need to wait a bit for her credit report to reflect the update).

Like a gift card. Can apply to future flights. It's a current work around so not sure how long it'll last
Card anniversary as per the customer service rep
no way

Damn it used to be calendar year.
Booo. Would have been great.
Yes, by not applying for it.
How do you do the work around? Finding the airline credit is near impossible to use. I get free bags with status.
