It's not a problem they're trying to solve. They made most of their products cheaper with components that don't last as long on purpose. Instead of lasting 3-5 years, or more, they often don't even last one. Sure they have to replace a good number, but people just keep buying a lot more regardless. They win, we lose.

Yup. That was my point. Strangely enough though, I don't have a problem fitting a "large" mouse like my MX master 3 in my laptop bag, backpack, or anywhere else when I travel. To each their own, but I don't get the need for a mouse that's half as large as it needs to be for comfort/ergonomics to save a few ounces. Also, the 2 MX master 3s that I have work great on any surface including glass. If this is what you're looking for then great. I just don't see the use case personally.

I agree. 2s are heavier. I like the grip but it used to double click after few months of purchase

really? They still have not corrected this? Many many years ago, I had this mouse and had this problem. They gave me a replacement and still had it. It was useless. I can't believe this problem still exists.

Had one of them. Super convenient!
It runs on BT so running home and work computer on one mouse works great for me. Also it is ambidextrous whereas the 3 is not.

Not sure why switching button is at the bottom of the mouse. How are you gonna quickly switching between machines if work laptop won't let you install extra software?

Same thing happened to me but like a year after having it. Good mouse if it wasn't for that.
