i am in CA, and talked to buyDig customer support and they said while burn-in is covered, if an issue happens, customer is responsible to ship the tv to service center at their own expense and insurance/serviceCenter will evaluate that case.
i think same applies for NY.
in other states, they would send an engineer to customer's address to verify and check and support.
This sounds like the burn-in warranty is almost pointless in CA/NY then if customer bears shipping cost.
Does anyone have more info on this or any past experiences?
August 26 - SlickDeal posts BuyDig C2 65" $1897 + $175GC
September 20 - SlickDeal posts BuyDig C2 65" $1797 + $175 GC
October 26 - SlickDeal Posts BuyDig C2 65" $1697 + $150 GC.
November 25 (Black Friday)...?
I get that most of the time Black Friday deals are either lower end products or SKUs made cheaply for Black Friday, but at this point you are betting AGAINST the current trend in regular price drops not to expect a $1597 + $150 GC or similar promotion.
At a certain point, waiting for a 65" C2 to get even cheaper may be worth it, but you have to ask yourself, would you say you got $100 worth of value in a single month using the TV?
This could be the deal I've waited for... Decisions decisions. I was looking at the Costco deal for same timeframe ($2500) but its 5yr warranty does not cover burn-in and this includes the extra $175 GC.
I'd be upgrading my 65b7 that has had burn-in twice. First time the panel was replaced under warranty. The second time it is out of warranty and we are just living with it for now.

I upgraded to the C2 from an E8. It's a big difference when playing video games. Picture is better but it's not a night and day difference. All HDMI ports on the C2 are HDMI 2.1 120hz as opposed to the HDMI 2.0
I emailed them last night about the warranty for the 77" and they corrected it first thing this morning on their page. It currently will.add a warranty for up to $5000 to the cart now, instead of previously up to $1500.
Got this as a response for people that might have gotten the wrong warranty you might want to contact Angel here:
"In the meantime, if you would like, I can collect your order directly making sure you get the correct warranty. My direct telephone number is 732-979-2200"

Is the deal for the 77" still active, when i went to check out it showed it at $2600? Does it drop to $1600 once you hit checkout? Sorry, i've never used this site before.

The 77" is $2500, the 65" is $1700 before gift cards. The prices will not drop further in the cart.
