Avoid this phone like a plague. While the phone is great while it works and so is the camera, I constantly have issues with dropped calls and incoming calls going straight to voice mail … I didn't believe the reviews about bad reception and still bought it and now I am outside of the return window

The description clearly says "Unlocked". What reviews are you referring to?

I want to buy this. May I ask what carrier you're using? Are you close to Towers, and does it drop on WIFI calling? Thanks
Mint Mobile. I've had a few instances where the call dropped. However, i was told to disable wifi calling and some other options to fix the issue.

What do you have / suggest?
I have been using atnt prepaid for a long time. No call dropping or network issue. Plan is cheap as well.

I own the pixel 6 pro unlocked, my only complaint is reception, the quality of reception seems poor, constantly cutting in and out with half or full bar. I love everything else about it.

I still don't understand the fingerprint reader issue. My wife and I both got pixel 6 pros at launch and have had 0 issues. We recalibrate when changing screen protectors and it is fine.
The biggest problem I have had is tozo Bluetooth headphones not working with fiddling in developer options after an update back in May. Other than that it is flawless

I'm curious, has anyone here owned both the Pixel 6a and the Pixel 7? If so, would you say that the 7 is a significant/noticeable upgrade to the 6a? Or, would it not be worth trying to upgrade to the 7, if you already have a 6a?

If anyone here has owned both phones, some feedback about how the Pixel 6a compares to the Pixel 7 would definitely be appreciated. Thanks.

In for one from Target using the RedCard 5% off $285 + Tax

Came from an LG V35 ThinQ that was still on Android 8

Hate to give up that phone but some apps would no longer load or update due to ancient Android version

I'm coming from a pixel 3xl.

Bought the 6a on release because I didn't want to spend $1000 on a phone.

The phone is fast enough, camera works great, I actually like that it's NOT a glass back.

My two complaints:

1. I'm on Verizon and the reception is horrible. 0 bars in places my 3xl gets 2 bars. 1 bar in places the 3xl gets 3 bars, dropped calls etc. I'm not exaggerating. In my case, it's really this bad.

2. The speakers are noticably more quiet. Id say they are like 70% the loudness of my 3xl. They also get covered up easily by your hands when you're trying to take a video.

I bought two "Used- Acceptable" from Amazon warehouse for $225. Both look brand new - no scratches or scuffs. One box has all the included accessories, the other is missing the SIM tool and the USB-C to USB-A adapter for phone to phone data transfer. For $225, I think this is an absolute steal, but time will tell.
