If you have a ASICS outlet nearby I'd recommend checking it out just went yesterday and had huge clearance sale. Extra 60% off all clearance. Picked up some meta runs for 36$, kayanos $50 for wife, nimbus and few other trail runners for like $25 each. Total 6 pairs for 200$ can't really beat it.

Thanks OP these are the closest to my prefered Asics designs I've seen on a deal in like over a year. Most of the deals were for flashier and more "unique" styles.

All the Slickdeals for ASICS can be beat by going to the outlet. These sneakers are mediocre and this should be the msrp.
Never had this brand before. Do they run true to size?
It varies some from model to model. I would consider my size and 11.5 and most asics I wear 11.5. (except their golf shoes) I think the gel venture 6 are the best fitting shoes I have ever owned. I have not tried the venture 8s.
This are true-fit for me. Lots of people online are saying to go a half size up. I got slipping in the heel when I did this. 8.5 seems good however these shoes not the wide models are narrow in the heel especially with arch support.
The left fit was fine but the right fit was all messed up. I had to take the sole out and readjust it. My wife with similar size shoe to me confirmed it as well. First time I have had to do that and I have owned ASICS for like 10 years. When I noted that the fit was messed up on the right shoe Asics was quick to deny any warranty or replacement.
For now the sole isn't moving much, but disappointed that Asics pretty much denies any warranty claim.
I bought these for speed walking on the streets around me, 5 mile/day, two months and the soles were worn out. other than that good shoes. true fit. comfortable and inexpensive.
