Any sd'ers have this mower that might comment on the pros/cons? Appears to be quite a discount but a bit hesitant due to it being a push mower vs self propelled. Thanks!

I bought it about two months ago. It's pretty versatile and quiet for a mower. My yard is flat, that being said I'm pretty comfortable pushing the mower.

Amazon reviews complain that the battery life is short. Is it possible to replace with higher capacity batteries?

I have one of the higher end ones from them (self propelled).

The electric ones are much lighter, so it's less issue being a push mower. The 2 batteries will only be enough for a small-medium sized lawn if you mow every other week (for propelled, so your distance is probably better)

It cuts fine, it bags fine, etc etc. IFF you are interested in the GW line, then you'll be happy with it.

4Ah is almost their largest capacity. (5 max)

What you'd want is to get another set of 4Ah batteries to swap with and charge while mowing.

The batteries alone are quite expensive, so best way to get them is to keep an eye on a good deal that is bundled with them. (Trimmer, leaf blower, chainsaw, etc etc)

I got it as well. The mower is pretty nice for the price, and I was quite surprised at the quality of the driver.

I got my 80V push mower for $250 and I am really happy with with I have. Yes, 56V EGO self propelled is better. But $350 better? No.

Go for it for this price.

How are your battery cut times? Have you noticed any decline?

I have had this mower for four years. My grass type is centipede. I mow every other week, 8 months out of the year. I have a sloping yard with about a 15 degree incline from the road that ends after 20 ft. It takes 2 batteries to cut 1/4 of an acre. Very easy to push, very quiet compared to any gas powered mower I've owned. Tip for a lush lawn, unless you mow weekly you will want to first mow on the highest setting(about 1" off the top) then drop to your desired grass height. By doing this I am able to get 15+ minutes per battery, w/o I get 6-7 minutes at the most. This mower has also worked very well for leaves during the fall months, specifically sycamore. Only con, I purchased this from Amazon warehouse and one of the batteries would not fully charge. With that said, I contacted Greenworks and they sent a replacement battery to me hassle free. Things may have changed but their customer service was fantastic four years ago.

It can handle anything any other mower can handle
