Love the set. It is my go to for small jobs. Have to love the knuckleheads with the TD's. They probably don't know which way to turn the nut.

I have an older set with just the ratchet and the sockets. And it gets used all of the time working on cars or around the house. The stubby ratchet is a life saver at times.

I also have a small, very old, Craftsman ratchet set that was my main set. I had it in the garage and my son has now taken it for his car....bummer. He loves how compact it is. I will not be showing him my stubby ratchet set or it will disappear also. These small sets are just handy to have.

You may want to watch after black friday but I got my set on clearance a couple of years ago. Like the other guy said you could get a second one for yourself and one for the son and have change left over! Not sure if that will happen in this recession but Lowes has still been having clearance.

I have a stubby screw driver, but not a wrench and ratchet. Seems like they'd be useful in tight spaces. Thanks OP, got one.

I have an older version of this and love it. Even though I have a nicer tool set in a tool cabinet, I often gravitate to this stubby set. I also keep one of these in my RV

I seem to buy this set every year when it comes out. The new set stays here, the old set gets rehomed. These are great kits to leave at family's houses (or clients) to make sure you have the minimum basic tools on site when they ask you to do something.

This is the first year that I can remember where the ratchet is fully inside the clear case. All the previous years, it was actually on the outside clipped into a holder.

This is a much better carrying case than the Craftsman stubby set I got a few years ago. Much more efficient use of space.

Very handy set. I bought it at $19.97 a year ago to replace the older set I had from 10 years ago. The case for that one has basically fallen apart. Hopefully this one lasts as long. No problem with the tools and fits in the pocket on the back of the driver's seat.
