If you have pets that shed a lot, just stay away from this. I've had mine for about a year and I wish I never bought it. I have to constantly manually empty out the bin. Then when the battery gets low and tries to go back to the dock it gets lost, and I end up having to go find it and put it back on there.
I was a lifelong Deebot fan after the Deebot 950 turned me on to robot vacuums.

I was so excited about the N8+. Hated it. Absolutely chokes on pet hair. So much so it's actually more work with the auto bin than just cleaning the onboard bin every time.

I found the navigation slightly worse than the 950: it would run out of battery 3 times as fast because of less runtime but also because it had to rotate around what it considered obstacles 30 times, a long contemplation about its life, before moving on and rolling over the cord anyways.
'Oh, well it goes back to the dock to charge, right?'
It does and then resets the clean 3 out of 5 times.
'It won't get blocked on the auto empty as often if you tell it to go back on the dock every 20 minutes, right?'
It theoretically wouldn't, if it didn't touch the dock after 20 minutes, and GTFO of the dock right before the dock vac kicks in to empty it's contents.

Customer service was abysmal / non-existant, RMA was like dealing with a car salesman 'I tried sprinkling it with fairy dust, it's still a shit vac, just give me my RMA number please'.

It was bad enough that I am a roborock customer going forward (and super happy with it).

EDIT: That being said, I'm still upvoting this, as it's a great deal. Possibly a good vac if you have uncluttered layout so it can do a good navigation and no pets. I went through Ecovacs direct which is where the RMA and customer service issues happened, Best Buy can circumvent a lot of that, depending.
I own a T8 and a N8. I have the lost issue only with the T8, not the N8. The T8 has a longer battery life so it's not even a low battery issue. I also have 2 dogs that shed a lot. I run both vac on schedule everyday. The T8, which runs on carpeted areas, gets clogged sometimes but the N8, which runs on wood laminate floor, has never gotten clogged. It helps greatly if you put tape on one of the suction holes. This makes the machine noisier when it empties but at least I do not have to deal with manual empty. I would recommend the N8 model, but not the T8.

We have 2 cats and no issues at all with clogging. What I didn't like was how it handles rugs. The low pile rugs are fine but it struggles with a high pile as well as ones with the little tassels on the end. Also I made a transition piece to go from tile to hardwood that's maybeee half an inch high and it gets stuck on it sometimes. Overall tho it does its job

Bought one at $130 in July. Overall it works fine except frequent loss of mapping.

That is a great price! I bought one from Walmart several months ago for $288 and am very happy with it.

Where it was on same price?
Jet bot was on sale for $174 but doesn't mop or include the self-cleaning base. Depending on how well the vacuum/mop are this is probably a better deal.

FYI, I think this fix works only for certain people, depending on the pet hair. I tried the fix in that video (and some other ones in the same vein) and it didn't work for me / moved the problem to a different part of the vac.
Interesting. We had 3 pets all that shed pretty bad. We did reduce the amount we vaccumed a bit. I agree if you vacuumed a large area all the time it probably wouldn't work, but it made ours go from stuck every time to only stuck once every couple weeks.

Yeah, before I bought it, I did a ton of research so I was aware of the problem and thought that fix was a way around it (for me). Some reviewers had said pet hair was no issue and others had said it was; a subset of those group offered a 'block one of the vent outlets' fix that I thought would mitigate the issue.

I found out too late that some of that subset went back and said 'it didn't hold up really' (not that they ever said it would be a long term fix to begin with, so no blame on them). I think a ton of how effective it is just how your different pets' hair combine. My two? It seems to be like super glue. Enough that it kills a dual vent output like the N8+ in that it can't pull the bulk of hair apart when trying to untangle the mess when it divides it between two exit vents.

Any single exit vent: so iRobot, Ecovacs Omni, Roborocks doesn't have that issue as it doesn't need to pull the mess of hair apart like a dual vent has to when it sucks it up into the main bag.

Apologies if this doesn't make any sense, I'm super drunk.
