When posting a deal, don't make the subject the URL. The subject should be something like "ECOVACS DEEBOT N8+ vacuum", so people don't have to open the deal to see what it is.

Anybody know anything about this particular vacuum? Is this a decent value? I just bought a Shark robovac from Walmart on sale for about the same price. Vacuum only, no mop. Is it worth taking it back for this one?

Reviews vary on this one. Drop sensor faults is common, and rug issues.

I have had mine for a few years now. Bought when it was a steal at the time for like... 600? It's been okay, the main problem I have had is that the map seems to want to reset regularly which defeats a lot of the convenience factor of it. Like it seems to randomly decide it's in a totally new house and just clear the map and I have no option to tell it not to do that so I lose all my named rooms, no go zones etc until it remaps. If it wasn't for that I would say it has just been a perfect vacuum.

The mop feature is mediocre as it's mostly just dragging around a slightly damp cloth. There is an upgraded mop attachment for like 50 bucks (haven't looked in awhile) that gives it a vibrating scrubbing action that I have heard is really good but we rarely care to mop regardless.

Basically at 600 I am "satisfied but not in love". At 220? It seems amazing for 220 lol. OH and my house is only hardwood, tile etc. No carpets, a few small rugs. So can't comment too much on that use case.
