Also notorious for being an excellent value for the money spent, and notorious for the cheapest lidar self emptying vac you can find anywhere at this price.
I have had one of these for 6+ months now, does a decent job vacuuming. Mopping is fairly weak and you have to be mindful of refilling the water reservoir as it won't tell you if it's empty.
This is the lowest price I've seen it also.
Notorious for mapping error due to dirty lidar or defective lidar. Search deebot map problem on Google.

We have this and like it. Ledges and carpets are places where it can get stuck, but since it creates a map of the floor it's easy to not have the vacuum go to these areas. We have ours do a vacuum twice a week and other than minimal maintenance it's worked for us.

Does this need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to operate?

It doesn't have LiDAR to map out the whole house unlike this one.

This or pay $399 to $599 for the Roomba j7+ or j8+ from Walmart or Costco?

This does a fine job vacuuming, mopping is useless. Just don't leave strings or wires around.

Or spend 30 bucks or so on the omni mop attachment from alixpress and get an actually useful mopping experience albeit loud.

All Roomba are trash due to lack of lidar

This is way better. Used it for 2 years still working fine today. Only had to buy trash bags which is cheap on temu

whelp, would have been my first robot avcuum, but went out of stock while in my cart, and none in stock around me... LAME! I am watching a review now and am hoping that it comes back in stock, looks like an affordable way to try a nice robot vacuum, no way am I spending $400-$600 though.

EDIT: Aaaaqnd it's back! Ordered one... if it doesn't work well easy local return. I haven't looked in a while, these are thousands of different models from different companies... ECOVACS seems to have like a hundred models by themselves, up to well over $1000 (on sale!) with huge auto empty repositories, more technology than a predator drone... and that >$1k one is ~3 times the suction of this one. These things have come a long way but DAMN they can get expensive for something I still don't really believe will work all that well. I bought one to see first hand though, I guess there must be something to them if they have proliferated like this over the last decade or so.

EDIT 2: This was interesting... dunno of their bias, but it at least shows a lot of options in a short period of time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53-ce8K8aTo
