When ever there is a free tool and you add it to your cart you'll see the price for both tools lowered instead of the tool showing as "free". So what u do is you get each tool delivered using a different method. Don't pick up one of the tools or return it and you should be refunded whatever value that tool was given at check out, making the tool you kept cheap.

Thanks. You just confirmed that I'm such a dummy... A month ago or so there was a deal for 2 4ah batteries that came with a free tool. I bought two kits but then learned about brushless versions so I ended up returning all of it... No wonder she couldn't scan the free tools.......

It looks like the physical size of the quarter inch ratchet is about equal to the 3/8 ratchet which pretty much defeats the purpose of having both sizes for me.
If I got this combo I would sell the quarter inch as new.

It depends on how it was rang up. If each item is prorated on the receipt then that's how much you'll get back when you return it. So if you return the battery you'll get back 59.48 and the two ratchets will be 89.52
